Saunarivm

aunarivm is a wellness and sauna center located in the Pankow district of Berlin. Designed in the style of a Roman temple, it offers a luxurious environment for relaxation and spa treatments. Since its opening in 2001, it has become a well-known local destination for sauna enthusiasts and wellness seekers. 

Concept and Facilities

The facility combines classical Roman and Greek design elements—mosaic tiles, fountains, and sculptures—across approximately 450–500 square meters. It houses multiple saunas, including a Finnish sauna (90 °C), a Roman steam bath (40 °C, 100% humidity), and a tepidarium (60 °C, 50% humidity). Treatments incorporate aromatherapy, color-light therapy, and special beauty baths such as honey-milk or rose-oil whirlpool sessions. 

Wellness and Services

Saunarivm offers a wide range of massages and beauty treatments—from hot-stone and anti-stress massages to cosmetic skin-care options. The venue also includes a relaxation lounge, winter garden, and small bistro serving snacks and drinks, such as house-made flammkuchen and desserts. Clothing is required throughout the premises, distinguishing it from FKK (nude) spas common in Germany.

Praised for its clean, tranquil atmosphere and professional staff, the wellness temple maintains a strong reputation, reflected in high customer ratings (around 4.7 / 5 on platforms like Treatwell). It has also been listed among Berlin’s top saunas by local guides.
