Hotel Vejlefjord

The road to Hotel Vejlefjord wound through flat Jutland fields, with the fjord peeking out on the horizon. I arrived on a crisp autumn afternoon, the air carrying a hint of salt from the water. The hotel sat right by Vejle Fjord, its buildings low and modern against the landscape. I checked in at the spa desk, ready for some time in the thermal baths.
