Felsentherme

Felsentherme is not just a typical spa. it’s a spa built into the rock, high in the Alps at about 1,100 m above sea level. The sauna and wellness area spans roughly 600 m² and offers eight different saunas and steam baths, so there’s quite a lot of variety under one roof.
The entire spa, and sauna zone, is carved into natural rock, which gives a striking, almost cave-like ambiance. The mineral-rich thermal water is drawn from natural hot springs, it fills the pools daily and results in very pure, “chemical-light” baths, as opposed to heavily chlorinated water typical elsewhere.
Windows or panoramic areas allow views of the surrounding mountain landscape (the peaks of the Hohe Tauern mountains), so as you sauna or relax you’re reminded where you are, high in the Alps, surrounded by nature
